Where the work begins
About me
Sealed by You is the work of a Northern Irish illustrator whose pencil moves between stories and sentiment.
What began as a love for sketching people turned into a way of capturing the quiet beauty in everyday moments - from wedding guests laughing mid-conversation to the texture of a handwritten note.
Over time, drawing became more than pencil to paper. It became a way of slowing down — noticing small expressions, subtle gestures, the way people stand a little closer when they feel at ease. Each sketch is less about perfection and more about presence, capturing something honest before the moment fades.
Notes from the studio and beyond

Making and creating
From as far back as I can remember I was always making and creating things! Trying to turn anything I could put my hands on into something! Many times I raided my Dads garage for cardboard boxes , slightly raging if I seen my sister for there first to get the first choice!
Live guest portraits
Live guest portraits is when an artist live-sketches guests at weddings or events in minutes in order for the guests to take home with them then and there!

FAQ
01 .
How much does it cost to have you draw at a wedding?
To work out a price for your special day, I just need a few details first. Let me know the date so I can check my availability, the venue so I can factor in travel time and miles, and roughly how many guests you’re expecting — that helps me understand how long I’ll need to draw everyone properly.
Once I have that, I can give you an accurate quote.
02 .
How many drawings can you do in one sitting?
At a wedding, I usually sketch for up to three hours. I find that’s the sweet spot to keep the quality high and the experience enjoyable on the day.
In that time, I’ve completed anywhere between 80 and 100 guest sketches. The final number can vary depending on a few things — how detailed outfits are, how quickly guests come up for their portraits, and the overall flow of the day.
If your guest list is larger than that, don’t worry. When you enquire, we can chat about a package where I finish any remaining portraits at home and post them out to you after the wedding.
03 .
How many people can you draw in one portrait?
From individual guests to couples, families, and small groups — I’m happy to draw them all. Just let me know what you have in mind, and I’ll make it work beautifully on the day.
04 .
What’s included in my wedding package?
Each wedding package includes the live sketches on the day, my travel, and a few thoughtful extras to make everything feel even more special.
I bring a display setup with me so guests can easily find me and watch the drawings come to life. The display board is personalised with your names and wedding date, making it part of the experience rather than just a backdrop.
On the back of every portrait card, I hand-paint a small sketch of your venue along with the name and date of your wedding. It’s a little detail, but it means your guests will always remember where they received their portrait — and it adds that extra personal touch to your day.
